About Us

West Sussex Learning Links is a non-profit making charity, established in 1997, whose primary aim is to enable adults who have learning difficulties (ALDs) to access, with support from volunteer buddies, mainstream learning and social activities.
Participation in these activities increases the awareness, understanding and acceptance of ALDs in their local area, whilst allowing them to enjoy being more active in a community in which they may feel socially isolated.
We aim to empower ALDs to make their own choices about their learning and social activities by ensuring that information is presented to them in an accessible format.
